At last after 3 weeks of sleepless nights of educational discussions about the national and educational situation in the philippines, up budget cut, campaigning and doing propaganda materials; election fever in the campus was finally over. I got elected as one of the councilors for the incoming student council of the college of arts and letters. I ranked 4th with 302 votes out of 523 students who voted. Not bad for it is only a 20-vote difference from the number 1 councilor. Those 3 weeks were tiring, going to school before 7am, preparing those red/white outfits, wearing those leather shoes and walking the whole day. But all my efforts paid off and i finally won. I promise to be responsible and be thruthfull to my new task.
