this is my CDG batchmates. originally we are 22 but only 4 are lucky to join the group. Right now hindi ko na alam kung paano hahatiin ang time ko. Jake Tordesillas, the writer of Bagets asked me to join his creative staff to come up with the 1st mystery fanta-kwela on primetime television. As of now half-hearted pa rin ako para sa project. Marami pa rin kasing butas ang plot. Pero kung pagbubutihin at gagawin lahat para maiimprove ito i assure that i fill go full time on this project.

just had our weekly workshop on writing narrative drama and soap opera with sir ricky lee. marami akong natutunan such as teaory of reversal na ginagawa sa mainstream. nalaman ko rin na bago magkaroon ng physical conflict para magmove forward ang story kinakailangan muna mgkaroon ng emotional conflict. wala lang mabait naman siya tsaka calmado magturo. tommorrow we will have our synergy workshop para naman sa mga client show kung paano makakabenifit ang mga clients such as globe sa show dito sa abs-cbn

Cinema One, the Filipino movie channel on cable owned and operated by Creative Programs, Inc. (CPI), would like to invite all interestedfilmmakers, scriptwriters, film students to submit their dream movie proposals to the 2nd Annual Cinema One Originals.
Please send your proposal/s or full script to cinemaone@... This year's Cinema One Originals has a theme: Paglalarawan ng Pamilyang Pilipino sa Makabagong Sine at Panahon. There's no limit to the number of entries that you can submit before Feb. 28. We have basically the same rules and guidelines as last year except for the inclusion of the theme and for the semifinalists (around 30) to present and pitch their detailed proposals before the final selectionof the top 7 project proposals.
2006 Cinema One Originals Guidelines
1. This competition is open to all Filipino filmmakers of legal age and who reside in the Philippines. Prior experience in filmmaking is not required.
2. Interested parties must submit the following:a. a duly accomplished application form;b. a full script and an accompanying synopsis in either English or Filipino;c. a brief resume of the filmmaker/director and background of the production team;d. two (2) recent 2X2 photos of the filmmaker/s; and,e. sample works in VHS, CD or DVD format.
3. All requirements must be submitted in person or by mail to:

4. Deadline for submission of entries is on February 28, 2006.
5. The theme for this year’s competition is “Paglalarawan ng Pamilyang Pilipino sa Makabagong Sine at Panahon.†Proposals must showcase the importance, dynamism and new adaptive behavior, and the new values the Filipino family influences on digital filmmaking. They must also illustrate the role the Filipino family plays in the new cinema.
6. Thirty (30) proposals will be chosen as Semi-finalists. During this period, the filmmaker/s will be given the opportunity to pitch their proposals in person to the Selection Committee. They may use PowerPoint presentation or an AVP to clarify their concept and vision. They will also be required to present their proposed production schedule, budget and capability.
7. The Seven (7) finalists will be chosen on March 15, 2006. Formal announcement of the finalists will be made starting March 24, 2006.
8. Each finalist will be awarded a total production grant of seven hundred thousand pesos (P700,000.00).The release of the project fund will be as follows:* 50% of the P600,000 production budget upon signing of the agreement with CPI* 50% of the P600,000 production budget fund based on the submitted production budget requirement.* One hundred thousand pesos (P100,000) will be given to the filmmaker or production group upon submission of the final product.
9. All finalists will be required to attend a one-day briefing with the Cinema One Originals organizers, the date of which shall be announced accordingly.
10. By July 05, 2006, the filmmakers of the qualifying proposals should submit the following: a. production stills b. behind-the-scenes footages c. a one-minute trailer d. production credits `
11. The finished digital films must be submitted in DVD format on or before July 26, 2006, 5pm, to the Cinema One Originals office. The following information should be included in the label:a. title of the film;b. production company address;c. contact numbers of the filmmaker/s;d. full name of the director; and,e. running time.
12. The running time of each entry should be have a minimum of ninety (90) minutes and a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) minutes.
13. Narrative features, as well as documentaries, will be accepted as long as they fall into this year’s theme and the inclusive time restriction.
14. Announcement wil be made in August this year for the screening or film festival of the seven (7) chosen films.
15. The filmmakers and the major cast/actors of each feature production are obliged to participate in the promotion of the project and to attend the festival event and premiere activities culminating in October 2006.
Cinema One Originals Rules and Regulations
1. Only entries by certified Filipino citizens shall be accepted.
2. Employees of ABS-CBN, Creative Programs, Inc. (CPI), and their affiliates are disqualified from joining the project.
3. All entries must be completely original and independently produced (i.e., not produced by any commercial movie outfit).
4. Entries that have been previously exhibited in any public screening are ineligible.
5. All entries must be in digital video format (i.e., digital editing and postproduction).
6. Two (2) DVD copies must be submitted for screening and archival purposes.
7. Due to copyright laws, the music used in the digital film must be original, licensed, or in the public domain. Music rights clearances shall be the responsibility of the filmmakers.
8. Dialogue should primarily be in Filipino but may occasionally include English or other Filipino dialects, provided that the production has Filipino subtitles.
9. For joint directorial efforts, the filmmakers must assign a single representative to act on their behalf. All official correspondence shall then be addressed to the representative. The organizing committee shall not be held responsible for any controversy that might ensue amongst the partners regarding the sharing of the production grant/budget, cash prizes if a contest will be mounted on the project launching next year, and the like.
10. The Cinema One Originals Organizers will ensure the safety of the films throughout the period in which the cinematographic materials are in its custody. In case of print loss or damage, CPI is obligated only for the cost of replacing the damaged DVD.
11. DVD shipments to the Cinema One Originals Secretariat/CPI must be prepaid. The organizing office shall not accept any collect shipments of any entry.
12. Copyrights over the final produced film shall be owned by CPI.

BOYSCOUT overview:
NBSB o No Boyfriend Since Birth, ‘yan si Nikki. Bakit kaya, paano nangyari iyon? Mayaman naman s’ya, matalino, isang babaeng nasa kanya na ang lahat pero tila may kulang pa rin…Boyfriend. 25 na s’ya pero hindi pa niya nararanasan ang mainlove tuloy madalas siyang tuksuhin ng tomboy, pagkamalang bakla at minsa’y sinasabihan na magiging matandang dalaga. At dahil dito, sa tulong ng kanyang mga kabarkadang bakla at mga babaeng bakla na happy na sa lovelife, sila ay mag boboy-scouting upang maabot ni Nikki ang kanyang mithi na “Kailangan ko na ng boyfriend!”. At sa bawat lalaking dadaan sa kanyang buhay, tatanungin niya ang kanyang sarili “True Love na ba ‘to?”
Hay naku ang hirap talaga magtrabaho! Eto yung pinakamaikling overview ng dream concept ko.
